TOAST Creative Residency
The Unknown Path
Saturday 4th – Monday 6th May
The TOAST Creative Residency at the Paper Mill Studios is a three day programme of talks, workshops and events exploring the theme of our seasonal campaign – The Unknown Path
The series of workshops in the upstairs space is open to all and aims to connect creative individuals and to foster thought.
The downstairs space is a place for calm and contemplation. View an exhibition of abstract works, drawings and assemblages by artist Sue Lawty using thousands of minute stones creating a kind of pixilated ‘cloth’. The work is informed by the land, by rock, by ancient textiles and also by travels. Lawty held an artist residency at the Victoria and Albert Museum and was awarded a prestigious Smithsonian Artist Research Fellowship.
There will also be a pop up café providing seasonal vegetarian and locally sourced food run by Little Cooking Pot.
